I am very happy to let you know that some 100 people came to the pre-launch event for my Sustainable Styles magazine at Bar Basque in Manhattan last Thursday.
We will go live in a couple of weeks and will treat you to so many elegant sustainable lifestyle goodies - from so many different great visionaries - that you’ll find new colors to paint your sustainable lifestyle canvas with!
Interactivity is assured, with four Sustainable Styles events/year : art/design, food, lifestyle (fashion) and entertainment (Sustainable Planet film festival), which will be televised. I don’t want to reveal too much yet - we’ll do the countdown together - but in the meantime, here’s what the Press Release stated!
“Sustainable Styles” was launched in 2007 by award winning environmental economist Pamela Peeters. The online sustainable media experience informs and entertains an international readership on sustainable lifestyle solutions. The magazine also gives a platform to the movers and the shakers who style our planet with their visionary creations.
The relooked magazine is composed of a READ section (interviews and articles), a SEE section (clips and workshops), a PLAY section (join the club, share your tips, suggest interviews) and a SHOP (sustainable products and services that are good for both the consumers and the planet).
The purpose of Sustainable Styles is to inspire the World to do good to Mother Earth, all while allowing its audience to get acquainted with solutions that increase the quality of their professional and private lives. The ‘feeling” that Sustainable Styles is conveying to its audience is that a sustainable lifestyle can be elegant, refined and chique. (www.sustainablestyles.com)
