“After the Storm: a Visual Journey”: art meets sustainability during the 10th edition of Art Basel Miami

From December 1st through the 4th, Miami Beach will host the 10th edition of Art Basel Miami Beach, (ABMB) the most prestigious art show in the Americas. To mark this anniversary, attendees will be treated to unique artworks and performances by renowned artists and emerging talents and a number of special events that will take place across Miami Beach for the duration of the show.  More than 260 leading galleries from North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa will participate, showcasing works by more than 2,000 artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.

– A close friend to mine - David Basch is hosting my first show as an artist/photographer during a vernissage entitled “After the Storm” in his 12,000 sq ft penthouse. The New York based Fine Art Consultant, Eric Hunter Slater ~ a life long environmentalist and fine art adviser specializing in Impressionists and Modern Masters ~ will sponsor and will gather an exclusive international team. This evening will take place on December 4th from 7:00 –11:00 pm and will include a sampling of Miami’s finest cuisine and Samba.

“I am convinced that After the Storm will contribute to raise awareness on the true position that humanity has within the holistic life-cycle of our planet and I hope that my work will be understood as an inspiration for dialogues on the much needed balance between the male and female elements that are in a crisis today.  I am dedicated to the Gayan philosophy and believe that only through shamanistic introspection and a connection with our higher selves, we will survive as a species. My visual journey strives to show, that there is indeed, a better way to live.”

I look forward to brief you shortly on the way my vernissage was received!
