Love and Light to you all!

Merry Christmas, happy holidays!!

May Light be in your life and expand every day, so that we will love ourselves more and better, our neighbors and even people with opposing views, as they are only on your life to enlarge your reality …

With this blog post I will close the year with gratitude and simply reprint the artist statement I wrote for my Art Basel Miami Beach vernissage. Thanks Eric.

Love,

Pamela

“As an environmental economist, specialized in Sustainable Development for more than 15 years, I have noticed that the dominant accent in our current transition to a sustainable planet is of economic origin and the vehicle who makes this happen - Mother Earth - is too often left out of the equation.

With my multi-dimensional and international scope of work, touching four different regions of the world : Asia, Middle East, Europe and the USA, I try to restore the balance within the trinity that is at the cornerstone of Sustainable Development : people, planet, profit.

My photographic work, mixed media, video art and art installations are a vehicle to inspire humanity about the beauty and generosity of our Mother, therefore restoring the inclusion of her assets in governmental, corporate and private household decision making.

Marisa Belger from MSNBC describes me as a person “who follows a philosophy that’s accessible to everyone from the hardcore planet protector to the person who has recently begun thinking about the environment.”

I am convinced that my vernissage for the tenth anniversary of Art Basel Miami “After the Storm” will contribute to raise awareness on the true position that humanity has within the holistic life-cycle of our planet. I hope that my work will be understood as an inspiration for dialogues on the much needed balance between the male and female elements that are in a crisis today. My visual journey strives to show, that, there is indeed a better way to live.  My dedication goes towards the Gayan philosophy and I believe that only through shamanistic introspection and a connection with our higher selves, we will survive as a species.

I am honored to present a summary of several years of artistic expression during the historic 10th anniversary of Art Miami Basel, which is a mere expansion of my work as a television and film festival producer, a sustainability strategist and forecaster and an author and publisher, as the art market is perfectly positioned to not only just dress your walls and gardens, but our consciousness and well-being as well.”
