HAPPY SUMMER!
We have started a new month and while most people are vacationing, here at Sustainable Planet we are working overtime. No holiday yet, because a new television series is in the development pipeline.
The theme will be “Ethical Fashion” and the pre-production puts me in contact with unique personalities. Besides ethical and eco designers, I’ll also be presenting some inspirational role models. Just you wait and see!
During this month of August I will post some of my most cherished pictures, as to keep you inspired to not only practice but also upgrade your sustainability factor
LOTUS
Attached is a picture I took in India, early June, when I was touring several regions upon the invitation of Clenergen, a clean energy company with operations in Ghana, Guyana, the Philippines and India. I was most impressed by their bamboo production and other biomass technologies. The photograph shows the Lotus Temple - built by Fariborz Sahba - and it was taken around sunset early June. It is one of the magnificent houses of worship of the Baha’i and meditating inside the Lotus Temple was a life changing experience.
My Reflection Question to you is: in what way did an element of nature reveal a life altering experience?
